he caved

Well, I bought the Superdry jacket I was moaning about previously. The guy who told me not to get a bucket of water thrown at me while wearing it didn’t recognised me as the guy who was whinging about it not being weather proof before. So now I’ll look very cool even if I’m going against my own maxim of not wearing clothes that have the label emblazen’d on the outside of them. (Thought it was just on the shoulder but actually there’s one on the back too.) In the light of the weather and stuff I’ve also gone on line and bought a weather proof hat. So huzzah. Oh, also bought a weather proof jacket in the sale from Howies. Tried to do this before but they sold out before they got to my credit card. Hopefully this time I’ll get the jacket. So now it can rain all it wants and here’s to a sunny September. In a fit of buying stuff I also fell for a cycle jersey in Mud Dock which was a bit steep but a bit of looking on the internet revealed it came no cheaper elsewhere. So that’s in my tucker bag too. Also discovered it’s actually a woman’s jersey but don’t care. Girls get all the best clothes and you should see the cut of my jib in a skirt. (that really doesn’t sound appetising, but I do look good in a skirt. I have a kilt as well which is reserved for special occasions and since the kilt is black and not tartan I maintain that my clan is ‘Mercenary’) And having now indulged my credit card and my sad sad vanity I shall try and work up enough money to replace the dosh that’s just gone sailing away. C’mon – I’m doing my best to get the economy back on its feet. House buying AND clothes shopping – what more do you want? Never mind tightening the belt it’s time to go out and buy a new one.
